How I was Successful:

Most affiliate marketers advertise their websites using Pay Per Click advertising like Google Adwords. The problem is Pay Per Click companies like Google Adwords dont allow people to place Pay Per Click ads that lead to an online poker room or casino (gambling site). They actually spider your site to verify no links lead to a gambling site.

So I got creative. I removed ALL links to gambling sites from my website. I then put them in my e-book which I sold in pdf format. The result- I was able to indirectly advertise as an affiliate for PacficPoker.com using Pay Per Click advertising when no one else could (or knew how to!). My Pay Per Click costs were dirt cheap because there was so little competition (All other poker/casino affiliates gave up because they were not permitted to link to gambling sites). Result over 4000 e-books sold and over 250 referrals to PacificPoker.com !
