Are you capable of running a home-based business and making it work? It is not easy to juggle a family and a business in the same home and some people struggle with this. Owning a home-based business and making it work is tougher than it looks. You must be able to separate your personal life from your business life and you cannot play hooky and watch TV for an hour.

Just because no one is watching does not mean you can get out at 10 AM on the morning and quit at 1:00 PM. In fact the United States of America's Justice Department has a smaller agency called the Federal Trade Commission which has a smaller division called the consumer protection division, which supposedly enforces bogus home-based business opportunity advertising and claims of a crackdown on culprits who use trickery in advertising to get people to sign up for home-based business opportunities.

If you are considering starting a home-based business and wish to make it work then you probably need a pretty good plan and you must be motivated and able to separate your personal and business life. Please consider this in 2006.
